'SOUNDWASTE' | Session with Elektron Digitakt + Dreadbox Typhon + Circuit Tracks

For today’s session, I decided to slow down and go for a chill, cinematic and downtempo feel. Yesterday’s workshop with my friend Songs From Tin Pan Alley may have influenced today’s vibes! It was a workshop about Tape Loop and Modular, I certainly learned a lot of interesting stuff while hanging out with local heroes. @knobs_n_keys. 🖤

This jam session is recorded straight from my living room’s floor. Sorry about the mess, I’m about to rebuilt this setup on a proper live rig. I’m really looking forward to it. This is going to be way more practical for me to be able to just plug and play on the go. Instead of packing in and out those instruments every time I wanna play with them. Can’t wait to show you the outcomes.

I managed to finally spend some quality time with my new synth. The Dreadbox Typhon. I've only spend a couple of hours playing around with this engine. But my first impressions are really good. Great-sounding, portable and affordable. The Dreadbox Typhon is my first analog synth and the possibilities seem pretty much limitless with the modulation options given. The built in effects provide the needed depth and interest to get really cool sounds out of the engine. I still need to dive deeper into the learning curve, but so far I can really see the potential of this engine in my current setup.
